Flipchat is a random video chat site very similar to Chatroulette. It has a decent Alexa rank, which means it probably typically has enough users online to make it worthwhile to visit. The interface is clean, and easy to navigate. The color theme is nice and easy on the eyes, which I like. Flipchat isn’t only anonymous random chatting though, they also have the ability to register and a convenient “add friend” button so that you can add people as you go! This is a great feature that allows you to immediately be able to save all your new friends and at the same time kind of keep them separate from the rest of your personal online space if you don’t like giving out your Facebook or IM id.

Flipchat also has options to select what gender you’re looking for, and the ability to choose the location you are trying to find someone in. I kind of doubt that either of these options will work very well because I don’t think Flipchat gets quite enough users online at any given time to make it work, but it’s still worth a try.
